Nearly a year and a half after moving into our current home, I finally feel like the garage is starting to come together as a usable space. It’s been tough converting it from a junk dump storage room into something resembling an actual utilitarian garage. Over the past month, I’ve worked on clearing it out, rearranging, organizing, and creating some vertical storage space, including building the shelves and pegboard arrangement to the right.
Next up is sealing it up to better insulate it and keep bugs from getting in, along with applying a proper non-slip epoxy coating to the floor to cover up the rough and porous concrete that’s shown. Eventually, I’d like to remove the center support pole and install a steel I-beam in order to better open up the horizontal space. But for now? I feel like I’ve reached a pretty good point. :-)

Looks legit. I like the vertical storage.
What are those black seats from on the far right? They seem like they’d be car seats (like that bench...?).

Thumbs up on everything I see. Kudos on having a legit man cave/ garage.

Glad to see you're still around, last I remember you going through some tough times with the mini, but the garage is looking great!
